Statement of Faith
The Scriptures
The Bible is the inspired Word of God, a revelation from God to men, the infallible rule of godly faith and conduct, separate and distinct from worldly, Satanic faith and conduct.
2 Timothy 3:15, 17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Hebrews. 4:12; James 3:14-15
One Triune God
The one and only triune God has revealed Himself as the eternally self-existent, self-revealed “I AM,” the only begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Isaiah 14:12-14; 43:10-11 Deuteronomy 4:39; Mark 12:29; John 10:30; Luke 3:21-22
Creation and the Fall
God created everything that exists and He created it complete and without evil or sin. An angel, now known as Lucifer, chose to rebel against God and established his own area of rulership over one third of the angels, the entire human race, and this earth.
Genesis 1:1-31; Job 38:4-7; Ezekiel 28:12-15; Revelation 12:4; Genesis 3:1-7; 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
Humans: Our Fall and Redemption
Humans were created complete and without sin. God said, “Let us make man in our image and after our likeness.” But humans, by our own choice, turned from God, fell into sin, became obedient to Satan, and now reside in Satan’s domain. Our only hope of redemption from Satan and his domain is in Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
Genesis 1:26-31; 3:1-7; 3:17; Ro. 5:12-21; Colossians 1:13-15
The Church
The church is the “body” of Christ, inhabited by God through His Spirit, and is present here on earth—Satan’s domain. Each believer is an integral part of Christ’s “body,” and each has been given the ministry of reconciliation so that they might reveal to those living under Satan’s dominion that there is a choice to follow God. The names of all who follow God are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.
2 Corinthians 5:18; Colossians 1:13-15; Revelation 20:15
Our Present Life
By the power of the Holy Spirit we strive to obey the command, “Be ye holy, for I am holy.” This is a will of God for all believers, and should be earnestly pursued by living in obedience to God’s written Word rather than one of Satan’s worldly systems of faith.
Hebrews. 12:14; 1 Peter 1:15-16; 1 Thessalonians 5:23-24; James 3:14-15; 1 John 2:6
The Victory
The Lord God will have victory over all His enemies—Satan’s rulership and all his works. The Lord God will then establish a new eternal heaven and earth, wherein righteousness dwells and the Lord God, with His Church, will reign over all creation forever.
