Discipleship
Just read Oswald Chambers and once again he nails it.
Is your discipleship to Jesus Christ for His glory or is it all about the earthly blessings you can gather from obedience? Or, is sharing in His holiness enough good for you?
For they, our earthly fathers, disciplined us for a short time as seemed best to them, but He disciplines us for our good, so that we may share His holiness. (Hebrews 12:10 clarification added)
The true Good that our heavenly Father has for us is His eternal holiness.
